    When do I need an IEC Code?

    I run a software company based out of Delhi and our clients are primarily in the US and UK. Do we need to obtain an Import-Export code?

      Dear Ms. Garg,


      IEC Code is only required by a company who is into imports or exports. I far as i understand you are running a software company and you would only require an IEC code if you are facilitating your clients by exporting hardwares or importing electronic computer parts or accessories.
