Can a landlord legally terminate a residential tenancy before the agreed lease period expires?

I have entered into a residential rental agreement for a fixed period of 11 months. The agreement does not contain any specific clause allowing the landlord to terminate the tenancy without cause before the expiry date. The landlord has recently asked me to vacate the property within 30 days, stating that they need the property for personal use.

I have paid the rent regularly and have not violated any terms of the rental agreement. I would like to understand whether the landlord can legally require me to vacate before the lease expires, what rights I have as a tenant, and what legal remedies may be available if the landlord attempts to evict me without following the applicable legal procedure.
