    Indian Kanoon > Indian Christian Marriage Act, 1872 > Section 59

    Section - 59. Registration of marriages between Indian Christians

    The registration of marriages between [Indian Christians] under this Part shall be made in conformity with the rules laid down in section 37 (so far as they are applicable), and not otherwise.

    1. Subs. by Act 6 of 1886, s. 30, for “Secretary to the Local Government.”.
    2. Subs. by the A. O. 1950, for “Native Christians”.
