Section-55 Power to make rules

Section-55 Power to make rules:-

(1) The appropriate Government shall {The words "subject to the control of the G.G.in C." were rep.by Act 38 of 1920, s.2 and Sch.I} have power all matters connected with its enforcement, any may from time to time alter and add to the rules so made.{The provision was rep.by the A.O.1937.}

(2) The power to make, alter and add to rules under sub-section (1) shall be subject to the condition of the rules being made, altered or added to after previous publication.

(3) All such rules, alterations and additions shall {The words "when sanctioned by the G.G.in C." were rep.by Act 4 of 1914, s.2 and Sch., Pt.I} be published in the Official Gazette, and shall thereupon have the force of law
