Moving on in #KnowYourWrits, we bring you another writ of your use - Mandamus which means a command. The Court can issue a command to a person, organization, inferior courts or Government if they are found neglecting their duties which is in nature of public service.

A mandamus is available against any public authority including administrative and local bodies.
