    Section 43 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973

    As Per Section 43 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 A person can arrest another person and take him to the nearest police station if he saw that person committing a Cognizable and Non-Bailable offence like murder, dowry death, rape, theft and criminal breach of trust.
