    The Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006 THE PROHIBITION OF CHILD MARRIAGE ACT, 2006 NO. 6 OF 2007 [10th January, 2007.] An Act to provide for the prohibition of solemnisation of child marriages and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. BE it enacted by Parliament in the Fifty-seventh Year of the Republic of India as follows:
